Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the website, applications, products, and services (collectively, the "Services") provided by Kanjan AI ("Kanjan AI", "I", "me", or "we"). By accessing or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

1. Eligibility & Acceptance

You must be at least the age of majority in your jurisdiction, or have the consent of a parent or legal guardian, to use the Services. By using the Services, you represent that you meet these requirements and that the information you provide is accurate.

2. License to Use the Services

Subject to these Terms, I grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Services for your personal or internal business use. This license does not permit you to resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit any part of the Services except as expressly permitted.

3. Accounts & Security

Some features require an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account. You agree to notify me promptly of any unauthorized use. I am not liable for any loss arising from your failure to safeguard your account.

4. Acceptable Use

When using the Services, you agree that you will not:

• Violate any applicable law, regulation, or third-party right;
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code, except where permitted by law;
• Interfere with, disrupt, or compromise the integrity or security of the Services;
• Use the Services to transmit malware, spam, or unlawful, harmful, or infringing content;
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any systems or data; or
• Use automated means to access the Services in a way that burdens the infrastructure.

5. Intellectual Property

The Services, including all software, design, text, graphics, logos, and other content (excluding your User Content), are owned by Kanjan AI or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. Except for the rights expressly granted to you, no rights are transferred. The "Kanjan AI" name and marks may not be used without prior written permission.

6. User Content

You retain ownership of any content you create, upload, or store through the Services ("User Content"). You grant me a limited license to host, store, and process your User Content solely to operate and provide the Services to you. You are solely responsible for your User Content and represent that you have the necessary rights to it.

7. Third-Party Services & Stores

Applications may be distributed through third-party platforms such as the Apple App Store and Google Play, and may rely on third-party infrastructure such as Google Firebase. Your use of those platforms is subject to their respective terms. I am not responsible for third-party services, and their availability is outside my control.

8. Payments & Subscriptions

Certain features may require payment or a subscription. Prices, billing cycles, and renewal terms will be disclosed at the point of purchase. Payments processed through app stores are governed by those stores' policies, including their refund rules. Unless required by law or stated otherwise, fees are non-refundable. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled through the relevant store or account settings.

9. Disclaimers

The Services are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. I do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that defects will be corrected.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Kanjan AI shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the Services. My total aggregate liability for any claim shall not exceed the greater of the amount you paid me in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or fifty (50) US dollars.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Kanjan AI from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Services, your User Content, or your violation of these Terms or any applicable law.

12. Termination

I may suspend or terminate your access to the Services at any time, with or without cause or notice, including if you violate these Terms. You may stop using the Services at any time. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination — including intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability — will survive.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of your place of residence or such other jurisdiction as required by applicable consumer-protection law, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of competent jurisdiction there.

14. Changes to These Terms

I may modify these Terms from time to time. When I do, I will update the "Last updated" date above and, where changes are material, provide reasonable notice. Your continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
